Free at Last!

For 5 years I have suffered from unexplained nausea, bloating, intestinal cramping, etc, etc. I never understood why I felt this way sometimes. After trial and error (don't worry I'm going to a doctor this summer), I have concluded that my body can no longer digest dairy products very well. I tried taking lactose pills and that seemed to help over the last 5 months, but it's not enough anymore. Hence, I am striving to go dairy free till we figure this out. This is my 3rd day and I feel great! No more intestines 10 times their real size. Yay! I hope I can keep this up. Wish me luck!

La Homa,

I can totally empathize with you! It is so frustrating. You should do an experiment through trial and error to see if it's dairy. It may be other foods or things too, but at least you can start narrowing it down.

I still can't believe that I'm trying to go dairy free. I don't love cheese and milk, but I sure do love ice cream, chocolate, and lots of things that you wouldn't even think have milk in them. Keep in touch and thanks for commenting! :)
